January 25, 2012 marks the official start of the Mediterranean cooperation project GOUV'AIRNANCE. This project aims to reduce urban air pollution in the Mediterranean by the establishment of means of measurement and an integrated territorial governance of air quality in four Mediterranean metropolises:‐ Tripoli (Lebanon) represented by the Urban Community of Al Fayhaa;‐ Aqaba (Jordan) represented by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA)

On 28th and 29th june was held in Florence a two sessions Kick off meeting of Capitalisation. The event have been seen the participation of all the lead partners and partners of the various territorial cooperation projects that involves Tuscany region public or privates institutions. The two seminars gave the opportunity to present the path of capitalisation and to launch the work of interchange between projects within the clusters.

Medgovernance thematic seminar addressed to Environment will be held in Rome, March 24 2011. Maritime environment, regional strategies and Agenda 21 processes will be the core of the meeting, that will be participated by partners and stakeholders at Mediterranean and European level. Following the successful events of Florence and Marseille, Medgovernance agenda follows its agenda for 2011: a technical meeting of the Steering Committee will also occur in Rome on March 23, to check the financial progress of the activities.
