EDDT/Renforcer le développement économique, 'épine dorsale' du développement territorial.
DESCRIPTION:
Territorial development today depends on the density and quality of linkages among those involved. It depends more on the suitability of collective frameworks for action, on the strength of projects and on anticipation of the future than on infrastructure or facilities.
This RFO is based on action for cooperation between the agents and the receiving territory. We hope to encourage and assist in cooperation of all types for the three partner areas, based on three major elements for economic development:
1 – “A territory that cooperates” – business clusters and groupings;
2 – “A supportive territory” – the creation of activities, micro-enterprises;
3 – “A territory that trains” – the development of relationships between schools and businesses.
The project has a single backbone: economic development with the aim of achieving complementarity and a strategic rationale.
The three areas of intervention have a single objective: that of strengthening relations among the territorial players in order to promote territorial solidarity and social links.
OBJECTIVES:
This RFO is based on work already carried out over several years to achieve cooperation among the agents and the receiving territory in European regions which are aware of the problem of territorial development in three countries – Portugal, Italy and France. The operation will focus on the three major areas mentioned above and should set an example to show that territorial competitiveness depends largely on the types of cooperation that are established locally. We hope to carry out specific actions for partner territories to show the efficiency of the territorial approach when it is complementary and integrated.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
Three seminars on “the weight of cooperation for territories” covering the three topics; sharing of know-how and transnational cooperation in the three areas; exchanges for specialists and on-site training. Creation of specific funds for cooperation projects in the three areas. Some projects will be carried out by way of example: “Transnational platform for supporting creation”. Two guides will be drawn up: “Cooperation and business associations” and “Experience in assisting creation”. Actions to achieve business cooperation.
