Institute de la Méditerranée (Marseilles - France)

The Med Institute aim is to provide to the members of its board (municipality, General Council, Regional Council and chamber of commerce) with an analyse and expertise tool as well as a support platform to develop projects in the Greater Euro-Mediterranean region. Its activities and projects address two majors needs of its partners : gaining influence within the Euro-Mediterranean cooperation on the one hand and identifying and implementing cooperation projects, on the other hand. Since 1986l the institute implements studies and surveys on the economic transition of Mediterranean Southern and Eastern countries, particularly within the Euro-Mediterranean Forum of Economic Institute (FEMISE).
