MODI - Montagne Digitale - Réseau télématique de services pour les citoyens des communautés de montagne.
DESCRIPTION:
There is a growing interest both on a national and a European level in innovation policies based on ICT applications as service tools for public administrations. Such interest is especially strong with regard to increasing the accessibility of certain zones by improving the quality and quantity of services for the public and
by promoting dialogue between institutions. This demand appears to be particularly strong in outlying zones (e.g. in the mountains) where geographical barriers can effectively reduce the effectiveness of administrative action and act as an obstacle to conscious participation in public life by the public.
